I am aware that common practice around here is to scuff epoxy after two days. I always follow the two day rule...it's usually not a big deal.
Here's the problem. Tonight I sprayed two coats of epoxy on a bunch of very irregular tractor grill parts. Many of these parts are only partially visable, or are only visable with the hood open, except the grill screen, which is literally impossible to sand properly. I need to base / clear these items, so they are the proper color, but I will not have time to do it until Monday or Tuesday of next week (6 or 7 days from now). Will I be okay to just spray a sealer coat of epoxy, then base / clear next week? I will keep the heat on in the garage until Thursday, then the parts will be cold until I return next week.
