thanks man. ill quit buggin ya now lolYou’re in the 7 day window of epoxy so you don’t need to sand before filler.
If you’ve sanded the filler you can spray it

Don’t do that. Then it means I have to start wet sanding.thanks man. ill quit buggin ya now lol
my son yesterday.......i didnt know this was gonna be so much work and take so long. well, thats why body shops charge so much.Don’t do that. Then it means I have to start wet sanding.
Putting mixing lids on my epoxy was probably one of the best things I did.
Are these strictly for mixing or can they also be used for storing?
I tried metal spreaders. Hated them.question, does any one else feel like they do better with a plastic spreader than a metal one?
that makes feel a little better, thank you. in my mind it should be better, but i just cant seem to get the metal ones to do what my mind thinks they should.I tried metal spreaders. Hated them.
Both. They are what is used in mixing stations. The mixing lid stays on there until the can is empty. Are these strictly for mixing or can they also be used for storing?
One trick I recently learned was to not blow off sanding dust with compressed air, gets it all over the shop. Now I use a brush and that keeps it contained to a smaller area.uh! i hate messing with filler. the shop WAS clean........
too late. im just gonna have to clean again. i think most of the filling is done now. little bit of blocking and i got a few pinholes. it is coming along. One trick I recently learned was to not blow off sanding dust with compressed air, gets it all over the shop. Hand pad or something small. Sometimes I would fold paper over on itself 4x and just do it that way. I wouldn't recommend that if you are new to this though. You aren't sanding you are just knocking down the highs from the trash.question, when you guys "denib" are using a long board or just your hand?
also, i should not use the 700 on the epoxy right?
thanks sir. i did mess around with that one crater and little tiny area of texture, they both smoothed right out by hand with a piece of 220.Hand pad or something small. 700 is fine on epoxy that is at least a few days old. 700 on base is the no no. If you have to wipe down base use 710.
If you spray during the day and it's not raining until night it's fine. In fact I've even had very fresh epoxy (maybe an hr old) get sprinkled on (because it was a camper that was painted outside).thanks sir. i did mess around with that one crater and little tiny area of texture, they both smoothed right out by hand with a piece of 220.
tuesday is the warmest day this week, but its gonna rain that night. idk if i should shoot or not. if i dont im gonna miss the window.
