Hello everyone. So today we sprayed. SPI Epoxy for the 1st time. DA'd 80, cleaned w 700-1 here in CA and now is just drying.
I also learned that my Dad ( myself and him are doing this project) is on quarantine due to COVID 19. The project its at his residence. He is not sick but my mom was around a co-worker this week that is now In the hospital. And we both wear P100 respirators or face masks when near each other.
Hopefully everyone is ok. Back to the project. This epoxy is gonna sit untouched for the next two-weeks. Was hoping to start the body work this week over the fresh epoxy but that's no longer an option. Do i need to scuff the epoxy before applying body filler ? If yes, what grit and how often?
Being weekend warriors, once the body work is done, do i scratch the entire cab and then spray the SPI high build primer? I just want to know the process moving forward. Your insight and knowledge is appreciated. Please, teach me as if i have no prior experience becuase i have none w SPI. Stay safe out there.
