Glad to see it was something simple!Update-I was able to get the local guy that works on compressors to come look at mine yesterday afternoon. He has it running smooth again. I guess I jumped the gun thinking I needed a new compressor.
Yeah I have a friend that owns a local body shop and he used the flexible piping. I believe it is made by RapidAir maybe. But I had mentioned ripping my black iron out and replacing with something better like copper and he had very high praises on the flexible piping. He says he will never use anything else.yeah rust is a problem. my whole shop is 3/4 galvanized pipe and i have never once had an issue with particles in the airstream. my buddy has that flexible piping system for compressed air. i think northern has the kits. he loves that stuff. not cheap though but easy to run.
I did quite a bit of research before piping my system last year. PEX came out as the best choice for me.Yeah I have a friend that owns a local body shop and he used the flexible piping. I used M.Which type of copper are you guys using? L or M? I see where some people say it doesn't matter which type to use and some people say it does. Just curious what you are using on your end.
Not with sharkbite fittings that I use vHas anyone ever experienced any issue with contamination from copper? Maybe from flux, sweating joints, etc?
