right now I have the LPH400 and it's been a good gun. Seems to be spraying my base coat a little on the "light" side recently. I ordered some of the gaskets that go in the air cap hoping that fixes it. I paint just as a hobby so I don't have a bunch of guns. I feel like the lph400 is a little slow and doesn't put the base coat down like I would like for an all over. I also have customers starting to ask about these new 3 stage paints on the newer cars, they do look great ! i'm worried that the lph400 (silver cap) will not spray it as "easily" as some other guns out there( maybe a wider fan?). maybe it's just me but I watch enough car shows when they paint they have waaaay better coverage quickly than i'm getting. What is going to get me better coverage faster...tekna copper or the tekna prolite? something else ? is a wider fan better for these 3 stage paints ? it takes me forever to do a roof with the lph400...though I do like it for clear coat. It just seems the more I paint i.m wanting to spray faster...sata 5000 rp is probably out of my price range right now...just looking for a great base coat gun that will give me qick and even coverage
