Hi everyone,
im currently doing paint and body on a 69 charger. metal work is done and i started spraying epoxy and doing filler. being that work space is limited i opted to start on the drivers side then move to the passenger side. currently the car is epoxied on the drivers side with the first go-round of filler applied and sanded. The passenger side is bare clean steel. The project has been on pause for the last several months but I am hoping to get back to it soon. Now to the question. I have read that after the primer has sat for this long that I do not want to apply filler to it even if it has been sanded. Is this correct? If so then I suppose i need to prep and shoot another 2 coats then back to filler ? Could I "spot prime" over the old SPI and then keep going with the filler work?
thanks in advance
