Today we will be starting the install of the new TCI front suspension for a Coyote for the magazine project car. This is what we are starting with.

I won't be able to give you a lot of details you will have to follow along in the magazine.

A friend of mine is putting a Coyote w/ TKO 600 in his 55 Crown Vicki. He just got an Art Morrison chassis under the Vick a week ago.
He wanted to put a supercharger on it but He was just telling me today that there is no Ford ECM support for it if you put their Ford Racing Supercharger kit on it. He would have to have a full custom map made for it on a dyno, and there are no dynos around these parts :(
Looks like someone did some rust repair before. Are you replacing that portion or reworking it to reinstall?
Both front aprons, rear fender apron to cowl extensions will be replaced. We need to patch the front frame rails, and there is a strange looking patch on the edge of the cowl where the fender extensions go.

Sweet! That new 5.0 Coyote is one helluva motor and judging by what stock Mustangs are running in the 1/4 mile, it appears to be underrated in HP. I'm curious how long before the Coyote motor takes the rod world by storm, because I'm sure there are plenty of 'Ford' guys with '32-'33 Fords and the like that would rather run a Ford motor vs that LS3 they're running.

The Coyote is a power maker for sure, but the thing is wider than a Boss 429.

After looking it over we found rust and patches in the shock towers and frame rails so we decided to replace the frame rails.

It is a good thing we removed the frame rails the left side was never welded to the floor pan and also had rust holes in it.
