Hi. Im currently bodyworking my hooptie. The passenger quarter panel was previously mangled up and "repaired" prior to my ownership. There will be quite a bit of welding to fill in the holes they drilled, along with metal straightening in general. My metal working and welding skills are less than top notch and on this older high mileage car, it doesnt really matter anyway. Typically on a situation like this where im applying filler over welds and areas where Im using more filler than normal, i use fiberglass reinforced filler. A while back a respectable body guy in my area said he puts evercoat Metal 2 metal filler on weld areas. I was curious if anyone here had used it and if it would be recommended for this applocation or if I should just stick with fiber reinforced filler. Thanks.
