Marson Golden Extra Filler

Just saw this advertised and was wondering if anyone has tried it?
Normally use the Marson Platinum but this is a little less expensive.

The Marson Platinum, gold are all excellent filler and a great buy for the money.
Z grip is another one as a recommendation for people that ask.

Bought a gallon of Extra gold one time when the jobber had a special. I used it once and threw it away. Keep your platinum or platinum plus as it sands much better.

If you think Marson Platinum is expensive, you should try buying any of Evercoat's premium fillers. They've gotten way out of hand.

I bought a gallon since it was on sale for about $30. I guess if its real bad I can toss it for that much. Since 3M bought out Marson the Platinum keeps going up in price. Now over $50 locally.

i always liked the platinum over the platinum plus. its sands much nicer. problem is its very hard to find. everyone only carries the plus. around here atleast.

I have found the Platinum 01171 (which has been my go to filler for years now) online for just under $50 shipped and some places selling a case of 4 gallons for $178 shipped but it takes some looking. I don't use enough to warrant buying a case of it.
Locally it is almost $51 a "gallon" before tax.

I've been using u-pol flyweight gold for around 30 dollars I have no complaints. Sands easier than rage gold and able to sand it 20 min.

i ignore the price of filler and primer . if i feel it is the best i will pay the cost. same with any of my materials. worrying about 20-40 bucks on a 10k paint job is ridiculous
.
