My first coat of Epoxy came out great. I tried to shoot a sealer over it reduced 50% and I got major orange peel. It was my gun not adjusted properly (beginner). I now know a lot about adjusting guns after spending hours online...
So right now I have some peel and do not want to go too far down since this is it for me on primer. Ideally I would get more primer but I need to spray this on the 30th (tomorrow). So it is what it is at this point. I feel confident there is enough primer for protection at the moment. Its a close call if I keep sanding...
note: This is a daily driver (I will be spraying dark green solid) - 94 XJS. Nice car but not a show car. Though, I do want it to look good.
Can I get away with the texture you see in the photo?
Should I carefully get it entirely smooth with 400 or will it not matter with a solid dark green?
