Ignorant question about cleaners?

It doesn't do the job. With my mix, I can feel a huge difference in the panel. My wiping cloth often drags if not on the first go, certainly, on the second.

It's situational here. It's not difficult for us to detect when a vehicle has been dipped in silicone, and then we have to go pretty wild on the pre-cleaning. Maybe you deal with a lot of silicone, but vehicles like that are rarer here, especially during cold weather. Other than that, our preclean methods don't give us problems in the booth, which is what matters.

Scented, unscented, fresh clean, clean fresh???
Might be tongue in cheek, but "Clean Fresh Scent" is all we can get around here, I'd choose unscented if it was available. Does not seem to be a contaminant, though. I have painted things directly that were cleaned with Sprayway (believe it or not).
(This is not an everyday thing, nor do I recommend it!)

My main customers are dealers. They use a fire hose to apply silicone to everything.

I was looking on Amazon and they offered the unscented. Reading the reviews some folks didn't like the smell of the scented. That made me wonder about contamination as well so I figured I would ask which was best to order?

Let me know if you get it and like it, I'll have to see what we've been paying for the scented stuff. I might have to break down and order yet another thing from Amazon...

Didn't know they made unscented! I think I'm addicted to the smell. Used to get it from a glass warehouse but they are gone.
Need a new source, Amazon might be it.

Amazon might be it.
About It anymore. Free shipping generally but you can forget about the 2 day delivery thing too. Haven't gotten anything in 2 in a long time.
I live 12 miles to anything but a Dollar General store and a 3 times the price Ace Hardware so he'll yes I love Amazon.
I can order a 5# bag of Kaytee stripped sunflower seeds for my parrot, shipped from Petco, free, which is where I have to go to in LR anyway, cheaper with Amazon than going to LR.
No rocket scientist but I'm no fool either.
I mean heck, people hated Wal-Mart but now Their in trouble.....
True story,
Goofy guy was in Wal-Mart looking at the gift card carousel and asks the lady stocking it if they have any Amazon gift cards..........
I haven't laughed that hard in awhile. I know she about bit her tongue in half as she's "explaining" why not.

700 and 710 is oil and water. i cant believe they would ever intermix. for a long time i would add 10-20% fast reducer to the 700 to kick up its cleaning power. that worked really well. def could not use it on base though

It is as simple as taking two merfin towels wetting like normal with 700, and then rewetting with 710, squize the rag, and using it,
I did not care for results, so nothing else mattered.
A simple intermediate will mix it.,
Same as oil and water.

Oh well. But, something about it intrigued you. I take some pride in that.
I use a spray bottle. It does separate but give it a little shake and it's ready to go.
I'm not looking for surgical cleanliness. I'm happy with MASH unit cleanliness.

I bought one can of the Clean Fresh Scent 19 oz. for $3.98 at Home Depot.
Not sure if I like it for cleaning glass better than the Invisible Glass Cleaner I have been using.

Does that mean something like Dawn detergent might work?
