I’d look at UHMW ….I know it doesn’t bond well and is highly wear resistant.
Yes, standard PSA paper.I may have missed it Dean but do these blocks use PSA sandpaper? Going to be ordering the set shortly. Doug Ims from Starlight Restoration in NJ recently got some and is loving them. He does phenomenal work and did some work on my fathers 63 split window.
It just showed up. Thanks!Dean,
Just left a review on Amazon for you. Hasn't shown up though. I suppose it takes time. I would encourage others to do the same
Yeah I sold some paint guns and stuff on eBay abojt a month ago. Fees are so high now it’s almost not worth itA couple weeks ago I made my first ebay sale in about 3 years, and they are up to 10% now. They even take 10% of what ever you charge for shipping.
That is a Christmas gift to me. I never get tired of hearing that people are happy with my product. Looking forward to project updates and pictures. Block on!Santa was good to me! The packaging and presentation is very nice, job well done! The quality is definitely something that you can feel in these. I cannot wait to use these!
I did my Suburban a few years ago. Acres and acres of sheet metal . . .I will be trying these out this week blocking clear on an excursion.
It's been quite the project. Thankfully it's almost finished! I will post some pics once its finished in a new threadI did my Suburban a few years ago. Acres and acres of sheet metal . . .
I'll be watching to find out if these blocks are ACVW-compatible. I hope so since they are all I have and need to sand an entire VW.Going to sand down this Bug fender (with beautiful base and clear on it) and shoot it in grey primer. Perfect panel to demonstrate Black Diamond Blocks in the booth.

They sure do feel nice in the hand. Gotta have 2 hands on the big one!As I was blocking out some parts this weekend I did have a little chuckle thinking about this thread as I was holding a black diamond block.
