I have a bunch of them and they are actually pretty nice
Since I'm just a hobbyist I'm sure these will outlive me. LOL. Thanks.jeremyb;34057 said:Those are GREAT stands. Don't confuse them with the other cheaply made (harbor freight) ones that do not have the formed foam/rubber pads. Everything about them is nice down to the length chains and hooks. The others have what looks like pvc foam "insulation" that deteriorates in no time. Not knocking the others though...many people use them and like them. Mine get used everyday all day and they stand up to the abuse.
I have 5-6 of these that are going on 8 years old now and the pads are still great as long as you take care of them in the paint booth. Honestly they aren't that much more expensive either...You can find them on the net for about $35 a piece. You got a great deal here. Keystone ran a sale on stands for 5 for $100. I was told they are the ones like pictured above and when they came in they were like the harbor freight. Sent them all back.
Just my 2 cents! :encouragement:
Thats a good idea.AAE;34059 said:I go to pawn shops and can usually find good deals. I got a 3m 3 inch RO with vacuum for $60. Also, multiple iwata and sata guns. I also got a 1961 Gibson bass yesterday. I love pawn shops.
