Hi all,
Here was my process:
Color is A52 Space Grey Metallic (on BMW's).
SPI Universal clear, 3 coats.
Clear dried about a week.
Car will be a driver, but would like to show it off at show&shine events.
1. 800 wet by hand using flexible sanding block.
2. 3M 1500 trizact wet, then 3000 trizact wet on 3/16 DA.
3. Buffed using 3M Perfect-it #1 and #2 with matching foam pads.
Did I do something wrong?
Since the scratches are straight (no pigtails), I am guessing it is the 800 wet step. Should I go back with the 1500 the 3000 step?
Maybe switch to a wool pad for Perfect-it #1 step?
thanks
