I see other brands of 2K Primer/Surfacers. What SPI product is comparable?

I respect SPI for both taking care of their jobbers (that's why there's no online eCommerce I believe) AND helping us direct. Call your order in, you'll be glad you did. The times I've ordered have been great, nice folks to talk to and great advice!!

Just as a side note and for context I used to sell a LOT of DIY chip tuning equipment, but in the end guess who my biggest competitor was? Yep the folks who I bought from... Makes it tough.

Nothing I hate more, then a company competing with their jobber base, We over the years have had a number of very big companies wanting us to private label stuff for them and i do feel sorry for them as they have only a few choices and none of them will really spend the money to make a good product, as private label is all about price.
I almost did it about 3 years ago for the biggest one and would have had to buy some lower grade resins that I don't use but my biggest fear was, one of their jobbers or salesman saying this is made by SPI. SOOO I ran screaming and walked away from a multi million-(s) dollar a year contract.
Best thing I ever did, jobber loyalty is more important to me and better long term then a quick buck.

Who is Andy? What is his email? Having to call in before 5PM is hard to do. Yeah, sounds crazy, but true...

Be careful what you wish for... I just added your cell number to my contacts. I may be texting you orders in the future :)

I have to remember to call before 3:00, being in the Mountain time zone. What I would really like to do is just send a picture text of the list on the whiteboard, that's what we do with our local jobber these days. I have to do it with them though, they make too many mistakes otherwise.

If you could be with me one day, you would go home and throw away your cell phone, in case it was contagious! LOL
So one more don't hurt at all.

It's nice that you've been quick to develop low VOC epoxy and clear, but any plans for low VOC build primer for those of us in the Welfare republic of California?
