How can you tell if you sanded through clear?

Just curious what signs to look for that you sanded through UC clear to your base?? So far so good, just wanted to know what to look for. Thx

If you see your base color appear on your sandpaper you cut through your clear.

Besides what Don said, unless you’re doing white it’s really easy to tell. The sanded clear is cloudy white but you will see actual color wherever you’re actually sanding through, and it will just look a lot different.

I now activate my base coat as doing so makes these much easier to repair.
