help w/ painting multi colored flame job

I'm working though the steps on doing two color flame job. I did it before, but this one is little different and needs more pre planning. The basic setup is orange and blue flames on metallic black. I'm going to use a taped red pinstripe. I've been testing different colors and schemes for a while so I want to do a full "production run" to make sure everything works.

Now the orange is a tri coat silver/candy orange but the blue and black are base coats. I started by painting the red background which will be my pinstripe and then taped off the two sets of flames. So now I'm ready for the flame colors, I'm thinking spray out the whole panel in silver, then follow with the candy orange. Tape off the orange flames only and spray the whole panel blue. Tape off the blue flames and spray the black, pull masking and clear everything.

I was toying with a the idea of satin black w/ gloss flames, but I think that would only work if the pinstrips was hand painted after to give a nice transition. The way I'm doing it with a taped pinstripe, there's no way to get a nice transition from the gloss to the satin.

Any issues with my plan?

Satin Black (I'll just clear over it for a gloss finish and bury the flames)
