Grounding for dust control

I've been doing more research to eliminate static electricity from the panel surfaces and came across this solution.
It costs ~$350, but not available for about another 12 weeks due to a manufacturing facility upgrade. The cartridge lasts for 1 year as the plutonium in it degrades over time.
The Boss Auto ionizing gun I noted earlier costs about $1300-1400 which is probably worth it if you paint cars everyday.
 
when airbrushing in the dry winter months the super fine overspray will stick to other areas of the panel in all these crazy patterns from the static. i have tried grounding the panel and it makes absolutely zero difference. all the static is still there.
