Graphics / Rally Stripes and Light Deviation

Well, I think I got it... Ended up using 2000 grit, 3/4" piece of pvc and sanding lightly in a cross hatch pattern over the stripes and the rest of the hood. Then 3000 - 5000 and buffed. Threw a sheet over and called it good!!
I might come back and hit it with 8000 in a couple weeks. Couple of pics

Mighty Fine looking light bulbs you have there Sir. Mighty fine!!
I say this because They are the First thing I look at if present in Paint pictures. Pretty much tells the Truth.

My Wife always knows how the 'thing is going all too well because she's a Crafter with her own 'things and we converse about 'things and what got finished or stomped into little pieces that day. LOL...
