I am doing a SS454 truck "black". I just cleared the doors last Thursday even though I wasn't feeling well. Mon. I went to the Dr. He said I had pnumonia. Just starting to feel better
today. I don't know when I will get to flow coat these parts.I might be able to get them sanded in a day or two but maybe not. What is the window for second round of clear"
Tech sheet says up to two weeks.
I really don't want to ask anyone else to help me because I know I just wouldn't be happy. Is there any advantage to scuffing to let them gas out a little better?

if your sanding the clear before flowcoating, as you should, then there is no recoat window at all.

I had the same problem and went outside the window also. I wet sanded it, put it out in the sun for a day and then did my recoats. turned out great.

Though not a necessary operation scuffing or sanding always helps the cure, opens up the surface for the fumes to evaporate out easier. We also did this with Enamels years ago to speed up the cure/paint hardness when there was going to be some buffing needed. You know it's really fresh if the fumes are strong when sanding, they gotta evap out.
