I have a friend who restored a 1972 Duster for a guy, He painted the car sassy grass green in Sherwin Williams low line Dimensions base coat and sprayed 2 coats of O'Reilly Auto parts production clear. I went and looked at the car after he was finished buffing and all and the hood has a lot of fisheyes in it. I ask him if he had a problem with silicone contamination or moisture and he got agitated and said why? I said the hood is covered in fisheyes, He said moisture will not cause that and he said there was no way that it was contaminated with silicone. So here is my question, Does moisture cause fisheyes? I know silicone does but moisture is my guess because he has no filters at all between the compressor and gun except the auto part store round filter on the bottom of the gun.
