Final Body work

I need some advice, this is my first time painting an old car. I did the major body work already. I sprayed spi epoxy, now I sprayed some slick sand and have block sanded, I still have some slightly low spots. Not sure if I can use a light film of body filler or glazing putty to get it all prefect. Or should I spray some 2k primer and do it over the 2k instead of the slick sand? Thanks for any advice.

I would do you're final body work over the slick sand, I assume these are small spots you are referring to?
I would sand that down and get everything to where you feel you are happy with it. Then I would typically spray SPI Epoxy over that, either one coat and then 2k the next day or 2 coats with a light sanding after a few days then then 2k primer.. It's more work but the extra epoxy stage always helps me get things just right.

However you have to look at what you are working on to make a decision how far you want to go with it. It sounds like you are trying to make something really nice.

Yes they are very small spots, max the size of a dime.. and very small waves. Ok so I will sand the slick sand and perform my final body work on the slick sand. thanks.
