Fender adjustment on late 60's/early 70's F series truck

This is the transmission jack that we use to line up doors. I had to replace this one after using it for around 15 years. We also use it to install 9" Ford rear end center sections and other things.

I’m using the original bushings. They were in good shape but were stuck on the frame so I never did actually remove them. So they’re in the exact position they were before.

Yeah this is going to be a pain.
It looks like the door is as far forward as possible, it seems to be adjusted right with the A post and the cowl, so the fender has to come back and up, or the cab has to go forward and down. I you take another look at the bushings on the frame those holes might be much larger than the ones on the body.

On the mid 50s GM used two guys on each corner of the car, one on the top side and one on the bottom. Notice that the guy on the top right side standing erect, has an alignment tool in his right hand.

They are just aligning the bolt holes, but the guys on the back side of the car are using alignment holes on the frame and body instead bolt holes, and the holes are smaller to get the body just right.
But being 15 years later, YMMD.
