epoxy sealer over 2k reg primer

Painting engine block & tranny case. I have 2 coats epoxy & filler on then 1 more epoxy. Started spraying 2k primer & plugged up my gun(1.7 tip). Stopped in the middle of tranny case - block got 1 coat. Bought a vapor 2.3 tip ready to try again. Scuffed all with a red pad planning to do the following
1. Epoxy seal coat 25% reduction - wait overnight
2. Fix some bad spots with Dolphin glaze
3. 2 coats 2k primer - block w/ 220 - wait 1 hour
4. 1 coat epoxy sealer - block w/ 600 -recoat if needed
5. Shoot base - Wanda if I can find a dealer
Anything I should do different or watch out for - time windows etc. Both of these have lots of nooks and crannies so to keep from running I have had to narroe the fan and cut flow back. Appreciate any help Larry

Why in the heck are you blocking a motor and transmission?

Lizer these are going in a show rod. My reason for asking is I am using these products for the first time and want to make sure my time windows are right and using the right products for what I am doing.
