Epoxy primer with base coat for floor pans top and bottom ?

The complete underside of the car has been stripped down to bare metal. I have read several posts in the forum about spraying the underneath of the body with epoxy primer. (Exactly what I plan to do) What I have not found is what everyone is using to topcoat the primer with ? Are you guys and girls not top coating the primer and using the dull epoxy primer as your finished look? My original thought was to topcoat the epoxy with Mathe Black 2201. Looking for an original Satin black look. Thanks Bob

I find that three coats gives a nice finish, not dull imho.

If anything, the black epoxy is a little too shiny for me.

Thanks for the replies - Maybe leaving it in epoxy is the way to go ?

The epoxy does lose some of its shine as it fully cures.
