Epoxy Primer Drying Time

Reading through the data sheets and "Perfect Paint Job" paper. It appear that it is ok to spray Epoxy and base coat in the same day. I plan to spray epoxy in the morning then mix up the base coat/Universal Clear "single stage" and spray that in the afternoon. This is just for underbody and interior areas that are normally not seen.

Do you mean epoxy used as a sealer? Then I'd say yes, it is ok to do that. I used epoxy mixed as a sealer and sprayed base 2 hours later and followed up with clear about 12 hours later.
That was with a surface temperature of approximately 70 degrees.

Same day is if you mix the epoxy as a sealer. If mixed unreduced then wait overnight.

Barry gave me the "4 hours is great" after the Epoxy is shot I can shoot the "single stage" this morning.

Is that full strength or reduced?

Full, ended up being almost 6 hours anyway.
