epoxy over 180 grit

R

Roger

My sequense so far is:
Applied 2 coats of epoxy over blasted panels.
Applied body filler over epoxy next day.
Sanded filler to 80 grit finish
Applied 1 coat of epoxy over 80 grit finished body filler and sand thru's to metal.
Applied 2 coats of 2K over epoxy the next day.

Now first pass dry block sanding with 180 grit getting cut thru's into several small area's of body filler and some metal on corners.

Is it ok to epoxy (NOT as a sealer mix) again over this 180 grit sanded finish without having adheasion problems?

OR should I skip the epoxy and just go with the 2K primer from here on?

Thanks for any help.

Roger

Either way is fine, the small break-throughs are ok to cover with 2K.
If you need the fill for further straightening then use 2k,
but if it's straight now, then use epoxy.
Epoxy is always better, it just doesn't have the fill capabilities of a 2k.
So it's your choice at this point, a judgement call really
