Epoxy help needed

I have a motorcycle frame I am repainting. I want to put down some SPI epoxy first then primer (for blocking),

I have almost the entire frame cut in 180 grit. I see the tech sheet says 80 grit though....I really hate to put that deep of scratch if not necessary....Will the epoxy bite ok with a 180 grit scratch?

Also for the hard to get to areas, welds, and tight spots will using a green scotchbrite pad be ok?

I have some raw metal exposed and some still with paint....

Something that small sand it all off, if you already have exposed areas then the rest has got to be thin so not much more time will be spent and you can be rest assured that it will last and not worry about the material under the epoxy failing which in turn will cause everything else to fail. No worrys, start sanding you'll feel better about it and we will be proud of you .

Its all sanded now. Just trying to make sure I can keep the area I am painting in at a stable temp of 65 deg or more for 24 hrs
