Epoxy/filler/featherfill poly primer

Since you guys are just offering free education....


When prepping for poly would you

1. Block epoxy with 180 and spray poly
Or
2. Block epoxy with 180, spray a wet coat of epoxy, wait 48hrs and spray poly.

Why would you not just spray directly over 2-6 day old epoxy? Don’t overthink it.

As the Old saying goes,
"If it ain't broke,don't fix it. Thinking Will get you into Trouble."
The only real downside with Poly is the shorter work time before it's Rock Hard in your Gun..
With the aspect of being an activated hardner type poduct and Acetone Reducer,
How much trapped Solvent actually does escape before it turns to "concrete" ?

I think I'll do both! Block 180, spot epoxy any bare metal, then poly...

Exactly what I did. I trust the chemical bond more. My epoxy went down yesterday. I start taping up tonight to prevent getting poly where I dont want it, and laying down poly on Tue with Wed as a fallback day. after that I have crap weaher that will throw me outside theh 7 day window.
