Epoxy 7 Day Window

Im stressing about not making the seven day SPI epoxy window. I would prefer the chemical bond verses the mechanical bond but I dont like being rushed to make the seven day window. I would rather take my time with the filler and block sanding than be pushed by the seven day window. Seven days on the product window is reasonable but for those of us who are learning the process, it is not always going to be enough time. I guess I would like a little reassurance I am not making a big mistake not trying to push for the chemical bond.

Don't rush it and we can decide what to do next when we get to that point.NO big deal.

Thanks Barry. Another concern I had was making the window to 2k Primer then litting it sit for a long time before base clear. It seems logical to me it is better in storage with epoxy than 2k. Epoxy is more like a sealer while 28 is more like a sponge or dirt magnet. Storage inside heated garage and never left outside.
