I'm using a minimum of two coats of black SPI Epoxy primer on every repair I complete to the underside of my 01 Grand Prix. It is a unibody car of course with a shit ton of overlapping seams. I was very tempted to use this seam sealer over every seam I can find. After much research I believe it's best not to. Instead I will apply cavity way liberally.
There are however, a few locations near the rear wheel well and the floor pan that did have a factory seam sealer. I intend to apply seam sealer in these locations only.
My question is, can I leave the seam sealer without a topcoat of additional epoxy, undercoating or anything else for that matter?
