It's actually worse for the vehicle imo to change a panel with that kind of damage, but few guys know how to fix anything anymore.

Isn't that the truth! A lot of work and expense to change that quarter panel. And you are correct, few know how to fix anything, just replace.

I don't think I'm as fast as you, but I'm probably older, too. But for someone experienced it should be done within a day, for sure.

I'm not fast by any means but that dent will work out pretty quick. And the absence of body lines will make it go quicker and filler easy. Just seems a shame to replace it. Wish I was closer Dean. A week of working in the evenings at your place we'd have it sorted.

i have usaa and they were really good to deal with when i got hit by the deer. they took care of everything, no questions asked. all supplements were taken care of as well. they questioned nothing. i did have an issue though when my wife's sante-fe got totaled in a hit and run. they really shorted me on the amount they gave me. i tried to fight it and it went nowhere. im sure your not anywhere near a total BUT for future, if you ever have an issue where your borderline total or fix. opt to have them fix it because they wont give you squat for the car if you total. for my porsche, i actually pay a little more for them to give me 20% over book value if its ever totaled just because of that incident.

I think we need to make deer start carrying insurance.

There you go. Use some of the money to buy a nice stud welder and a couple other treats. Except for the base color, you probably already have all the materials on hand, and they may very well time out on shelf life, before you need to use them on your next project.

It looks very repairable with glue pulling. It would be considerably less invasive as well.
