I have a 1977 corvette that I plan on fiberglassing the bumpers onto the body for seamless finish. Been reading online all week on different ways to do this, and thought I might ask the people on this forum their thoughts.
So far the best sounding is to grind the inside lip, apply Lord Fusor T21 adhesive to the lip, bolt the bumper to the body, wipe away any excess adhesive, allow to dry, grind a v-groove at the seam, apply Evercoat fiberglass sheets and resin , and finish.
Thoughts? I know lots of ideas and thought on fiberglass vs SMC
thank you in advance
