I've been painting my 78 Ford truck in pieces and I'm on to the hood. These hoods have a tendency to rust from the inside out, especially at the front lower edge. Even hoods (from my neck of the woods) that appear in good shape externally still always seem to leave rust flakes on the inner fenders when you shut them. As such, I got the inner support and outer skin separated. I'll media blast the rusted areas and strip the rest with a DA, then epoxy prime and reassemble. What is used to "glue" the inner structure to the outer skin where it is not spot welded?
