Wondering what steps I should take when clearing in high humidity / dew points. On my blue trucks box I didnt think it was too bad weather wise, but when I did my box it was probably the highest heat and humidity that Ive sprayed in, 85 with a 65 dew point. The result was that it came out fairly dry even though I upped my fluid. Im using slow activator with Universal.
I have some retarder Ive been contemplating on using in all the coats to help combat what I have been seeing. I normally add 1oz in my final coat of clear. Im wondering if I add retarder to all the coats and just stick at the 1oz or do I add more, or not at all?
Im planning on flow coating my box this weekend so Im trying to plan ahead. The forecast, if you can believe it this far out, shows 77 with a 65 dew point, so a little cooler than before but still fairly high humidity.
