And even if it were, the main point of this post is to avoid the practice of cleaning any substrate with laquer thinner. Too damn risky.
 
well, that was the point, I dont even know what is happening with this thread. Cleaning metal, cleaning guns, cleaning fiberglass after stripping, Three different types of solvents right?
 
try reading it . that was the most useless question i have seen in a while . lacquer thinner is not for cleaning in automotive refinishing. it is a total waste of time to try to help on this site any more. it is going the way of several other paint sites and for the same reason .
