Chroma base and SPI reducer

I am shooting Chroma base but I am out of Chroma reducer.I do have have SPI reducer, just wondering if anyone has used this combo
 
I would call Barry about this one. I'm pretty sure a lot of guys do it, especially if you use activator. But I'm not a Chromabase user.
 
I would not start with one and end with another that's for sure. I also don't think I would mix the 2 together to make enough either. I would do one or the other but not both at the same time, Barry would know better though.
 
The basemaker reducer is definitely one of the drawbacks to chroma, activated spi reducer with work but I can't remember the ratio, transtar makes a good reducer for this as well.
 
I appreciate the replies. I have to go to the paint store anyway but I was just thinking.
