Checking my plan..

Sprayed some SPI epoxy on my floorboards today. Do I need to wait a full 24 hours before before applying the seam sealer ? I still have the trunk pan area to prep and apply epoxy. Wont get to that for a week or two.(its e coat right now) My final coat on the floors is to be an undercoating or SEM bedliner (leaning towards the SEM). Will I need to scuff the epoxy before applying the SEM ? I am using the bedlinen because the pans have had some patches. Its solid metal now, just want a better look. Looks like frankenstein now with the welds..THANKS

If you read the tech manual, I believe it recommends 24 hours after epoxy to apply filler. The old SPI Bedliner (no longer available), says 24 hours between epoxy and bed liner. With this in mind, I am assuming seam sealer would also be 24 hours, but I have not found "seam sealer" specific instruction in the tech sheets. Im new at this, so hopefully someone with more experience than me will come along and correct me if I am wrong. As long as you apply products (seam sealer, undercoating, filler) before the seven day window, you do not need to scuff.
