Cheap but effective gun cleaner

What I use. Do those ingredients look ok?

Problem with methanol is it's hygroscopic. It'll absorb water out of the air and the can will start to rust on the inside. I guess all the cheap wash solvents have this problem and come to think of it it's a good reason why I should stick to cheap urethane reducer because I have a recycler and repeated recyclings tend to increase the water content in the distillate over time.

As long as you keep the can lid tight and aren't recycling, it's probably fine.

I transfer it to a gallon can to use, so there's less air space. I don't have a gun washer so into the kitty litter it goes.

It's only reusable if you have a recycler. Some guys keep the second and onward rinses in a gallon container that can be used as a first rinse, though. This isn't something I need to do anymore. Whatever way you go, make sure the lid is off for a minimum time and is put back on tightly.
