Body panel shim supplier?

Does anyone know of a supplier for bodyshims in 1/32" and 1/64"? The only thicknesses I've ever been able to find are the standard 1/8" and 1/16", I'm getting tired of modifying and making thin shims.

I use stainless steel equipment shims. Sizing starts at .001 inch. Available for various bolt diameters.

If you are willing to go into the darkness, Harbor Freight sells an assortment of body shims for $7 or $8. Includes 48 1/64" and 48 1/32" shims and 24 of the thicker 1/16" and 1/8".

Here's the link and what to look for if you go to a store.

That item from HF appears to be atleast similar to what is listed on E-bay. A friend of mine has the set from HF and it appears to be pretty decent.

Thanks for the links but the kind I'm looking for need to be the basic square body shim design without the hook hole. There's a really good selection of front end alignment style shims out there but not much for the body shim style. I like that stainless shim stock idea-it beats what I've been doing. Paint and primer thicknesses can really screw up a panel alignment when you've had everything dialed in perfect during the fitting and blocking then add some paint to all surfaces and it changes what the shim pack thickness needs to be.

My helper thinks I am crazy for wanting to sand all excess build off of strategic areas, this is one reason why.

I know what ya mean, all my panels fit so well when the fitting and blocking is done that when I put a machinist straight edge from panel to panel you can't see a crack of light-I'd like to have it reassemble to the same specs but coating thicknesses change everything. I have had some success by applying a few layers of masking tape between decklids and hinges to simulate coating thicknesses during blocking and this is a critical area where there isn't supposed to be any shims. I do keep primer thickness to a minimum in these areas but sealer, three coats of base, three coats of clear X2 surfaces adds up to enough to throw it off. I might have to guage the paint film thicknesses and come up with a shim close to install during fitting that I can pull out during final assembly on future projects.
