Body filler question

A customer gave me a gallon of 3M Platinum body filler that is about 2 1/2 to 3 years old and was only opened once during that time. I am sure it was stored in his
unheated shop during this time. The tech sheet says original, unopened container stored at 65-80 degrees is good for 16 months.

I am not going to use it on any major project but am considering it for small stuff like gas pumps, tractor parts, etc.
As expensive as this stuff is getting, I just hate to throw it out. Of course a re-do is more expensive than a gallon of filler.

What do you think I should do with it? (Be nice, now!)

Try some on something unimportant and see how it goes. Sometimes you can tell right away if it is no good when you open the can. If it is dried out or weird looking on top, don't stir it up, just pitch it. Use new hardener.
