Blending sliver

Got a car that I've had to repair the rear quarter panel. Got it ready to paint now but,

ITS SLIVER! Anybody got any tips or tricks on how to blend a sliver paint job?
 
Is it single stage or base clear? makes a big difference. If single stage not any different that any other color.If base clear give your self a lot of room to blend and watch how you lay the met. in your blend or you will leave a halo.I just keep going a little farther out on each coat and then a thin coat for my blend and as I said I sight down the side to look for a difference in how the metalic is laying. If you can see the blend before your clear you'll see it after your clear.
 
I like to get coverage then go 1:1 with my base reduced and DBC500 reduced to finish the blend. Tack rag lightly before clearing.

Been a crazy week so far, still haven't got ready to paint yet.
I've been running the shop since dad had to leave to take mom to the hospital! :(
 
Well, its done and it turned out great! :)
The sliver paint I got matched the color on the car so well that it was a prefect match, had no trouble getting it to blend.
