Bed liner reviews?

Its been a while since Barry stopped making bed liner and some of you guys have tried other products.

It would be great if people would take the time to post the product they have used recently, the results, and opinions on the product that was used as compared to the deceased SPI Bed liner.

Sure wish I had been online and aware it was going away and I would have purchased 5 gallons . Sorta like shopping at Costco, if you see it and think you might need it you had better buy it then as it might not ever be available again :(

I just asked Barry in another post if his friend was going to get into the bedliner business. Barry had mentioned he had given his bedliner forumla to a friend who was considering taking up where Barry left off. Have not got a response yet.

Yeah Barry had a good product there. I only had experience with one gallon, but I really liked it. I have a gallon of "Als Bedliner" now but I have not used it yet. Gets good reviews and its a spin off of the commercial bedliner "Scorpion" if I remember correctly.
 
I've done a few projects with SEM Pro-tex and it's a comparable replacement for the SPI. It seems to be similar in thickness and I spray it out of the same GEO gun.

Did a tailgate for my pickup this week with it. Very similar to SPI.

I did use SPI on a Ford long box a couple months ago. Had a little bit of trouble keeping it wet and consistent looking. Should have added some reducer but once I was shooting I tried to make it work. Nice stuff.

I still have 2 gallons on spi that I'm saving for doomsday I guess.
 
I used Raptor U-Pol tintable bedliner and the results were very good. I posted some pictures on this site if you desire to search "Raptor Bedliner".

Charlie, had you ever used SPI Bedliner so you can make a comparison of the two?
 
Ok, well at least we know Raptor-Upol is on the list to consider. Ive been looking for something ever since Barry dropped the SPI Bedliner. I picked up some "Als" bedliner but its still in the box. Will post results when I have tried it out.
 
I also can vouch for the Raptor Liner. I sprayed it over SPI Epoxy on the floor boards of my old Bronco. I also have used it on a few wheel wells here and there. Beautiful results.
