I have a little gift for him that should make him feel better about the windows he broke.

Planish he says, he forgot to tell me not to get the dolly wedged between the metal and glass before striking that almighty metal straighten technique.

Oh and mopar Jim, if you post that picture of Robert giving a thumbs up with the hawk in the background, I'm sending you half the glass

I remove all glass before doing any work fwiw. Weld splatter and grinding sparks will ruin glass in no time.

No, but I do have Jim's address!! I do believe it was the rogue hawk that he put on you.. I'm pretty sure he's on a motorcycle in Colorado at the moment, what a surprise if the package is waiting for him upon his return..

I always put a welding blanket over the glass when welding or grinding. I knew better than to leave the side glass in. I removed the door windows but, didn't want to remove the seats to get my fat *** in the back of the car to remove the window I broke.

It didn't just break, it exploded. About gave me a heart attack. Oh well, if this is the biggest mistake I make on the car, I'm doing good.
