BUSHMASTER

hey guys, painted and UV cleared a blazer, ended up with a little more orange peel than I wanted and a few runs ,While wetsanding I went thru the paint on a few edges the primer is still there, the color is a fine metallic silver/green.
can this be spot painted?
then reclear whole panel
thanks

Yes, you can spot paint it, BUT, it may be sensitive to wrinkling in the area where you went through. I find that in cases like this the epoxy is the most not likely to cause a issue. i would put one light/medium coat on the spot where you went through. I would personally let it sit over night and LIGHTLY sand it smooth then spray base and clear the whole panel.

Some would epoxy and spray the same day but that would be my choice if I had the time..

You can also try to dust some base on it and you may be able to pull it off without a issue but there is a chance.
