I was in Chicago a couple weeks ago and saw 5yr old cars with rusted thru quarter panels. Lol. Thats nuts?....then just out of coincidence I was walking in parking lot at work. And walked by a newer dodge truck. Maybe 10yrs old. Had a rusted out bed. I said no way......went and looked at the license plate frame and it was a Chicago bears plate frame....Just had a similar thing happen to me. Customer had a '99 Mustang convertible that showed no outside visible rust, but the underside was wasted. Rust everywhere to the point of being structurally dangerous. Customer asked what I could do with it, and I suggested finding another one from somewhere other than the rust belt. Never see anything like that on cars from around here unless they are parked at the beach.
