Life is hard when you have a conscience….View attachment 30858View attachment 30859View attachment 30860View attachment 30861View attachment 30862View attachment 30863View attachment 30864View attachment 30865It’s never over till it’s over. Blocked out the epoxy primer that I put down yesterday found a few low spots and a few edges that I did not like. Little bit of glaze little more blocking with 80 grit and a quick sand with 180 grit and it’s flat. Sprayed on a couple light coats of gray epoxy primer and tomorrow a couple coats of 2K primer to fill in scratches and do the final perfect blocking. I so wanted to shortcut this tailgate, but just couldn’t do it.

Don
I told your conscience giving me one of those shiny hammers is like putting leather seats in a Yugo…All of conscience gets you is shiny hammers anymore
I think I missed the part where something happened to the body side of the tailgate jamb?
Did you use a 400 grit sanding sponge to sand in, and around the dodge letters?
Might have something to do with UV speeding up the epoxy sealer cure in Jim’s outdoor paint booth. Pure guess on my part. I’m assuming Jim’s issue was the base lifting with the tape.Interesting because I have always been impressed with being able to tape over the Motobase with no issues.
