Hello...as the title states have anyone used spi white single stage for gm.. Chevrolet ermine white code 936.. just wondering how close or far off the formula may be.. 64 Chevelle is the car.. I used the single stage black it is top notch.... thanks for any and all replies.

SPI is pure white. Ermine has yellow and black in it. So it will look dirtier and a somewhat darker than SPI white. It won't match or even be close really. There are things you could do to get it closer but without a mixing bank of compatible toners and a gram scale it's really not worth trying.

Yes, Ermine White has a slight cream color when compared to a white new model car. I have Ermine White on my Chevelle park in the garage next to my wife’s new white car.

Thank y'all much... Haven't got paint from Chad but may see if he can hook me up with some motocryl...if that's the right name..

I think the modern equivalent might be GM WA8554. Unless it's going to be a points judged restoration, it's often better to find more modern paint code, it will be available in more paint lines and farther into the future than some obsolete paint code.
