64 stude hawk restoration started

Started on my hawk restoration . Rebuilt the trunk because it's a one year only item and are almost impossible to find. Three coats of omni base and three coats of spi production clear. Had thought about wet sanding and put a couple coats of uiversal on it but It looks ok as is.

This is as close as they can get to the factory color. Kind of a blood red or red marron. Thanks Berry I really like your production clear. You can put it on almost as wet as you want and it dosen't seem to run or solvet pop.

Lt 1/4 panel

Did the lt 1/4 panel this week. Had to build a new panel for lower front and have most of body work on it done.
