I'd love to share pics of my projects, someone please explain an idot proof way of posting pics? I have some pics on my phone and some on my digital camera, thanks, Dan.

Open a free account on Photobucket or one of the other sites. Upload your photos to there and the when you view your photos you'll see a series of links under it. Click on the IMG link and it will automatically copy it (on photobucket anyway) to your computer clip board.
Paste it in your text box exactly where you want it like here

and you can type before or after it, add more photos, etc.

By the way that is a comparison shot from the 69 SS (I think) to the new Camaro SS

Three coats of Universal clear, layed out pretty nice. I hope this imaged posted, have more to share.

You only need one

If you are using photobucket, just click on the link under the pic that says "
B] beside it and it copies it to your clip board. right click and paste it in the reply box and it should work.

Wow! It finally worked lol, as you can see I'm not computer savy to say the least! I put two new quarters quarters, inner/outer rockers, new door bottoms, inside and out, new inner/outer wheel wells, b-billars, floor pans and floor braces, lots of RUST!! Finally 3 coats of universal in my home made booth. I'm pleased with the Universal clear.

Wow!...thanks Jeremy I built the booth using plastic material on the walls, comes in 4x8 sheets, commonly used in commercial bathrooms. Booth has been working great, built my own exhaust stacks with greenhouse style fans in each exhaust bank. The inner door uses standard intake filters that I measured from a cross-draft booth. I made the doors slide so to each side on tracks so I can drive through into the shop/barn that I restored. As you can see it has a shed-roof, used to be an old chicken barn that I raised the height of the roof on...plenty of room in this old barn...my booth is 30 feet long x 24 feet wide, so far so good!

Hopefull one day I'll be able to afford a bigger booth. My downdraft is probably over 20 years old. Was bought new when the previous bodyshop built the building. Still works great, just as good as a new 100k booth (we've just about overhauled the whole thing, but the heating unit) but man these big cars are crammed in there. I guess the heat and being a downdraft outweighs the room right now though......I shouldn't complain.

Thanks Chad, it's ppg regal blue and a slight off-white. I sprayed it in DBC. I kinda wish I applied 4 coats of clear, but I think I'll sand with 800, 1200 and then 2000, and it should take care of it...

I would hit it with 1000 after the 800 before you switch to 1200. 800-1200 is a big step IMO.

With universal I do 3 heavy wet coats, and start with 800.....then 1000,1200,1500,2000, then 3000 on a da. then buff. Once you pass the 800/1000 grit stage, you really aren't removing alot more clear, just refining the scratches.

Looks gorgeous Dan.. Anyone on here would be proud of that!!!!

Sounds good Jeremy, I will do that, thankyou. I usually start at 1000, then 1500, then 2000, but figure the 800 will get it a touch flatter.
